Working as a Nurse in Germany

Salary
Salary in healthcare depends on various factors, such as the employer, professional experience, and collective agreements.
Depending on the employer, the starting salary is often between €2,800 and €3,500 gross per month, plus possible shift allowances.
Weekly Working Hours
Regular full-time working hours in the healthcare sector in Germany are usually between 38 and 40 hours per week.
Legally regulated working time ensures that employees have sufficient time for rest and leisure.
Working Time Model
Nurses often work in shift systems with early, late, and night shifts.
